BizKidz Agro Project

Wipeout Hunger - Reduce Poverty - Help Plant a Garden!

Bizkidz mission has been primarily to teach youth entrepreneurship, business skills, and service to community with a project we started in Brazil. That project has developed to where it is now successful and become self sustaining. In the past year we have decided to bring Bizkidz to “Mainland USA” as we recognized we have significant social and economic problems right here that we believe we ca...n help address. We are now focusing on developing Bizkidz of Colorado and particularly Bizkidz of Colorado Springs.
In the last year we started our Agro-Project with one garden and one Farmers Market. This year, as a testament to the great job the Kidz are doing, to our unique programs and services, and to the dire need for adequate nutrition at affordable prices for our Youth and our Seniors, we were able to literally grow to our current 6 markets and 18 gardens. Comments we get repeatedly are “produce the way it used to taste at yesterday prices” and “what a great service and program”. With your help and support we believe we can double and maybe triple these numbers. This project has also far exceeded our expectations in helping to bridge the generation gap. What a joy it has been to see the interaction between our staff, students, volunteers, and our Seniors at the various markets and gardens. How you can help! Click Here!
